During a natural disaster, school facilities may be used as a shelter at the request of State and/or County Office of Emergency Management. Schools as shelters may be used to care for those displaced and who need immediate sheltering. During this action lab, presenters will share what processes and procedures will need to be in place prior to, during and after a natural disaster.
