This session will highlight how urban districts can create college awareness/enrollment partnerships through the Educational Opportunity Fund program, which is housed on 55 colleges in New Jersey. The strategic partnership between Newark Public schools and Montclair State University will be discussed including intentional recruitment programs, campus visits, maximizing financial aid awards and an introduction to the mandatory residential Summer Academy for incoming high school graduates.
