For the past three years, all administrators in the Hillsborough Township school system participated in instructional rounds visits to each of the district's nine schools. Principals presented their goals to their colleagues for discussion and all participated in classroom observations and teacher interviews. The purpose of the instructional rounds visits was to identify and close achievement gaps, as well as build professional capacity of school and district leaders. This session will review the process and share lessons learned.
