As interest in career and technical education grows, local school districts can partner with their county’s vocational-technical schools to develop programs that prepare students for success. With a commitment to career-focused learning and a willingness to collaborate, county and local partners are working together to boost student engagement and address employers’ needs for a highly-skilled workforce. This session will explore successful partnership models, including career academies in local high schools and district programs developed with support from county vocational-technical school experts.
