Creating a Portrait of a Graduate for Your School District

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

After the River Value school district undertook a values-setting process, which included input from all education stakeholders, a collective conclusion was reached that what the community valued most was developing independent learners capable of personal and professional success, and helping children find and develop their passions. The district then turned that into something that represented the district's vision - a "Portrait of a Graduate." In this session, attendees will learn to create their own “Portrait of a Graduate,” along with helpful hints and a template for developing a more forward-thinking vision of teaching and learning.
