Interoperability: The True Promise of Education

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

IO (interoperability) is where curriculum, information technology and procurement intersect. In this session we will define interoperability within a school system, illustrate what it presently looks like “at the point of delivery” (the classroom), and explore why the true promise of education is dependent upon interoperability. The Morris School District will detail their vision regarding the relationship between interoperability and the development of student metacognition (ie. learning how to learn) and student agency; session participants will learn best practices and resources surrounding IO.
