The New Jersey Department of Education conducted a listening tour around the state to hear what community members, parents, teachers, educators and students would like to see in a statewide assessment system. This presentation will outline the purpose, process and outline of the listening tour and present the results of the outreach as well as discuss the next steps of the evolution of the statewide assessment program.
