In 2014, NJSBA issued a seminal report on school security, What Makes Schools Safe? After the February 2018 tragedy in Parkland, Florida, President Dan Sinclair appointed a new committee to review the study, provide an update and, if necessary, make additional recommendations. This session will focus on new developments in school security and continued areas of concern.
