Varsity Vocals is the premier a cappella group at Carteret High School. Founded in 2015, Varsity Vocals has performed at many venues locally, regionally and statewide such as; Carteret Borough Town Hall, Cancer Walks, A Cappella Festivals, Charity Events, Roosevelt Care Center, Robert Wood Johnson, New York City- Bryant Park, as well as performing on the field for the Trenton Thunder, minor team associated with the New York Yankees.
CHS Varsity Vocals is comprised of students in grades 9-12 with various musicianship levels. This a cappella group has received high praise and positive feedback from adjudicators in recent competitions. Varsity Vocals is under the direction of Mr. Kason Jackson, where he has been the Director of Vocals Music at Carteret HS for 3 years. CHS Varsity Vocals is proud to represent the Carteret School District at the NJSBA Workshop this year!
