This session will explore labor relations and negotiations issues for school boards, including the Workplace Democracy Enhancement Act and the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision in Janus v. American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees Council. We will chart the legal and practical concerns raised by the new law and decision and how they impact school district responsibilities.
