Hello Climate Teachers and Stewards! Over the past 9 years, I have worked with more than 400 K-12 public, private and charter schools in NJ to integrate environmental and sustainability education across their curriculum by coordinating Eco-Schools USA in New Jersey and the U.S. Department of Education Green Ribbon Schools. It's my goal for this year to connect the causes and effects of climate change to observable changes happening across New Jersey to make this learning meaningful, relevant and impactful so students can take action to mitigate the hazards of climate change to make their schools and communities resilient.
